Privacy Policy
Marconi Studio is an internal video production tool operated by MajorK Productions. This policy explains, in plain language, what the tool does, what data it touches, and what it will never do.
What Marconi Studio is
Marconi Studio plans, writes, narrates, and edits original educational videos for the MajorK Productions family of YouTube channels, with human editorial review on every video. It is not a public product or service: there are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no features offered to visitors of this website.
How the tool uses Google OAuth and the YouTube API
Marconi Studio connects to the operator's own YouTube channels through Google OAuth. It requests exactly two Google API scopes:
- youtube.upload (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload) — allows the tool to upload videos to the operator's own YouTube channels. - youtube.readonly (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly) — allows the tool to read information about the operator's own channels and videos (for example: existing video titles, publishing status, and basic channel metadata), so it can manage its publishing schedule and avoid duplicates.
These scopes grant access only to the specific Google accounts whose owner explicitly completes the OAuth consent flow — which is the operator of MajorK Productions, connecting the operator's own channels. The tool cannot access anyone else's Google account, channel, or data.
How Google user data is stored and protected
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on private servers controlled by MajorK Productions.
- Tokens are used solely to upload and manage videos on the operator's own channels. They are never used for any other purpose.
- Access to the servers that hold these tokens is restricted to the operator.
- Tokens can be deleted at any time by the operator, and access can be revoked at any time through Google (see "Revoking access" below).
What this site and this tool do NOT do
- No third-party data collection. Marconi Studio does not collect, store, or process data belonging to any third party. The only Google account data it touches belongs to its own operator.
- No visitor tracking. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no trackers, and loads no third-party scripts. Visiting this site sends us nothing beyond the standard, transient web-server request logs.
- No sale or sharing of data. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data — Google user data or otherwise — with anyone, for any purpose, including advertising or AI/ML model training by third parties.
Google API Services User Data Policy compliance
Marconi Studio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular: data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the tool's user-facing functionality (uploading and managing videos on the operator's own channels), is not transferred to third parties, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Revoking access
Access granted to Marconi Studio can be revoked at any time from the Google account permissions page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately invalidates the tool's tokens for that account. You may also contact us at the address below and request that stored tokens be deleted.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
